i remember years ago thinking about uni, about how daunting it is. i’m already halfway through my course. when did that happen?

woke up this morning to see that the sun had graciously flooded my room.
bit of a bonus considering me and the flatmates were planning to head out to the beach today.
went outside in shirt and shorts. warm enough.
got to the beach. everything was covered in ice.

the kings speech.
well i wasn’t expecting that.
even with all its critical success, the trailer of ‘the kings speech’ left me a little unimpressed.
however, to no surprise i turned out to be pretty fucking wrong.
the narrative was simple, yet was held together by some masterclass acting. genuinly couldn’t get my head round how colin firth pulled it off so well.
